Radical Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has blasted President Donald Trump over his response to threats from Iran, calling him "a monster" for threatening "innocent" Iranian targets.
From far-left "Squad" members to 2020 presidential hopefuls, a number of outspoken Democrats pounced on the opportunity to denounce President Trump's warning to Iran about possible retaliation for killing Iranian terrorist General Qassem Soleimani.
Ocasio-Cortez answered by accusing her president of committing "a war crime."
"This is a war crime," Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter. "Threatening to target and kill innocent families, women and children -- which is what you’re doing by targeting cultural sites - does not make you a ‘tough guy,’ It does not make you ‘strategic.’ It makes you a monster.”
