Boxing heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, is set to present his IBO, IBF, WBO and WBA belts to President Muhammadu Buhari.
He reclaimed his four belts after defeating Andy Ruiz via unanimous point decision in Saudi Arabia last weekend.
And Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare, disclosed that the 30-year-old will meet with Nigeria's number one citizen to present his belts on a courtesy visit.
The Ogun state born boxer who has identified with his Nigerian roots received a congratulatory message from the president shortly after his victory over the Mexican-American heavyweight.
"I salute World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Anthony Joshua, on his Saturday night comeback victory over Andy Ruiz Jnr," Buhari said on his official Twitter handle.
"You have brought joy and celebration to millions of Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora; we are and will continue to be immensely proud of you.
"The downfall of a man is truly not the end of his life. There's always another, and better day. This is a lesson we must all learn from Anthony Joshua, as a country."
