A Student of Michael okpara university of agriculture umudike in abia state was shot dead over the weekend.
Report shows that the victim identified as Innocent Tochukwu Uche who hails from obowo in IMO state, is a graduate of agronomy from the above school stayed back in school as he waited for his NYSC.
He took a bullet to the head by suspected thieves who lured him to a place to steal his bike. He was last heard on Thursday afternoon as he went out for work and didn't come back.
An eye-witness Emmanuel Isaiah who happens to be his friend and church member said "we started looking for him on Thursday as he didn't come back from work.
"Friends tried calling but his phone wasn't going through, only for rumors to fly that a dead body was found at one of the farms at the back of the school's stadium and it was identified it was him. His body was discovered on Saturday."
According to Emmanuel Isaiah, the victim Lost his dad last year and being the first of his siblings got a bike with which he made a little earning to take care of himself, mother and siblings.
So far the school's security is currently on the case but no arrests have been made as there are no suspects yet.
