Over 300 women in Imo state who are members of the IPOB group, were arrested Last week for protesting and
demanding the release of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu. The women have been
in police detention since their arrest and are to be held in detention
till September 3rd.
The former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili on his tweets, says this is an
injustice and has called on the state and Federal government to ensure
the immediate release of the women.
