Mr P Releases Part 5 Video as Jude Okoye Rift Deepens

Singer Peter Okoye, widely known as Mr P, has released the fifth instalment of his ongoing video series, escalating his public dispute with elder brother and former manager Jude Okoye with a fresh round of serious allegations.

He claims that following that exchange, he was subsequently presented with legal documents that would have transferred his ownership rights in the property to Jude’s wife — documents he said he firmly refused to sign. 

Beyond the property dispute, Mr P further alleged that Jude had made threats against his life on multiple occasions over the years, and that these incidents were not simply recalled from memory — at least one was captured on video, while another was referenced in the formal letter that announced the dissolution of their P-Square music group in 2017.

This rift video series has drawn a wide range of reactions from fans, industry observers, and commentators who have watched the brothers’ relationship deteriorate from one of Nigeria’s most successful musical partnerships into an increasingly bitter and very public family conflict. 

Mr P was careful to frame his motivation for the ongoing disclosures, stating plainly that the videos are not an appeal for public sympathy but a deliberate effort to ensure his own version of events is heard and documented, particularly after years during which he felt his perspective was either misrepresented or dismissed. 

As of the time of this report, Jude Okoye had not issued a public response to the specific allegations raised in Part 5.
