The wife of late Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo has touched hearts online after an emotional tribute she wrote in his honour surfaced on social media.

In the heartfelt message, she reflected on the love, friendship, faith, and unforgettable memories they shared during their time together, describing the actor as her greatest source of strength and support.

According to her, Alex was more than a husband. He was her anchor during some of the most difficult moments of her life, including the loss of her mother a year ago.

She recalled how he stood by her during that painful period, helping her navigate grief and providing the encouragement she needed to move forward.

"Before there was Pookie, before there was Pookstar, there was Asa, Asa IKUKU, one of the very first names you gave me and there was Nwa. The name somehow became home," she wrote.

The emotional tribute also highlighted the small gestures that made their relationship special.

She remembered how Alex would leave handwritten notes around the house, hiding them in drawers, on mirrors, and beside personal belongings as reminders of his love and affection.

She described those notes as priceless treasures that she now holds dearly. Reflecting on their marriage, she said their relationship was deeply rooted in faith and prayer.

According to her, they consistently trusted God together and never considered any issue too small to bring before Him in prayer.

She praised the late actor for his devotion to God and for positively influencing the lives of many people around him.

The grieving widow noted that Alex's impact extended beyond his family, stating that he touched countless lives through his kindness, generosity, and uplifting spirit.

She acknowledged that his passing has left an enormous void but expressed confidence that he has found peace in heaven.

In one of the most touching parts of the tribute, she described being Alex's wife as the greatest honour of her life and thanked God for giving her the opportunity to share life's journey with him.

"I hope you always knew how deeply I loved you, Dadaa. I thought I understood the depth of that love while you were here.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You are my Dadaa, you will always be my favorite human being. Forever your Nwa," she wrote.
