Naira Marley in Police Custody for MohBad's Death Investigation

In a significant development, the Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that singer Azeez Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, is currently in custody to aid ongoing investigations into the tragic death of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as MohBad.

This revelation was made in an official statement released by Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, on Tuesday night. Hundeyin stated, "Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities."

Earlier on the same Tuesday night, Naira Marley took to Twitter to announce his return to Lagos, Nigeria, with the intention of assisting the authorities in their ongoing investigation. He expressed his commitment to playing his part for Imole, a reference to MohBad's moniker.

In his tweet, Naira Marley said, "I'd like to share that I've just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria, to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It's important I do my part for Imole.
