Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has addressed the discrepancies in his Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) certificate, responding through Dele Momodu on his X handle.
A group had given Atiku and Peter Obi a seven-day ultimatum to release their academic records or face legal action.
The allegations of forgery, particularly regarding the name "Sadiq Abubakar" in Atiku's WAEC certificate, were raised by some members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Atiku clarified that he used "Sadiq Abubakar" to sit for his WAEC, then subsequently swore an affidavit to confirm his identity as "ATIKU Abubakar." He used this name consistently through his educational and professional journey.
The response aims to dispel allegations of forgery against Atiku.
