Controversial musician Azeez Adeshina Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, has aligned himself with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in its fight against drug abuse in Nigeria.
NDLEA's spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, announced this development in a statement on Thursday. He revealed that Naira Marley has joined the War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) advocacy campaign. Babafemi also shared that Naira Marley's video message to his fans and Nigerian youth regarding this initiative would be released soon.
The NDLEA's official Twitter account also posted about the collaboration, showcasing the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Agency, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd), alongside Naira Marley during the artist's visit to the NDLEA National Headquarters in Abuja. This visit aimed to show the musician's support for the War Against Drug Abuse campaign on August 17, 2023.
