Police arrest suspect over attack on Apostle Suleman

A 32-year-old man, Yusuf Isah, has been arrested by the police in connection with the attack on Apostle Johnson Suleman, General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide. 

The attack, which occurred in October 2022 along the Benin-Auchi Road in Edo State, resulted in the death of six people, including three policemen. 

Following an intensive investigation, the Intelligence Rapid Team arrested Isah in Akure, Ondo State, and recovered five AK-47 rifles, two K2 assault rifles, 180 live ammunition, and four suspected IEDs from his apartment. 

The Force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, made the announcement while parading the suspect in Abuja.
