Just In: Wike endorses Sanwo-Olu for second term

Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has endorsed Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, for a second term in office.

Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-chief Olu's press secretary, revealed this in a statement on Tuesday.

According to him, "Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has endorsed Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, for a second term in office. Details to follow," Akosile penned.

Recall that Wike is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, the largest opposition group, and that Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, is the PDP's candidate for governor of Lagos.
