Mr. Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra state, has abandoned the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.
Obi announced his resignation in a letter to the party's National Chairman dated October 20.
Obi explained his decision to withdraw from the presidential race in a letter obtained by Strenuousblog.
