Officials from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, (NDLEA), have detained popular Nigerian musicians Oniyide Azeez (Zinoleesky) and Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Oladimeji).
Both artists were apprehended in their residence in the Lekki district of Lagos state in the early hours of Thursday.
The agents who allegedly invaded the facility without arrest warrants were seen striking the artists with clubs and putting them into a waiting bus, according to eyewitness claims and video footage shared to Instagram.
The scene was chaotic, as some women who were with the musicians at the time of the arrest could be heard yelling and criticizing the violence perpetrated against them.
