At least 3 Injured, Dozens of building damage, in Christmas Morning Nashville Explosion (Video)

Explosion rocks downtown Nashville on a Christmas morning, injuring at least three people and damaging dozens of buildings.

A vehicle exploded in downtown Nashville on Christmas morning in what police described as an intentional act, and fire officials reported taking three people to hospital but none of them critically injured. 

According to Don Aaron Nashville police spokesman, "the explosion was significant, as you can see. 

"We do believe that the explosion was an intentional act, is believed to be an intentional act, authorities said."

"Police saw no immediate evidence of shots fired, Aaron said in a news conference, but something about the RV prompted the officers to request the department's hazardous devices unit.

"The bomb squad was responding to the downtown area when the RV exploded at 6:30 a.m. CT.

"We do believe this to have been an intentional act. 

"Significant damage has been done to the infrastructure there on 2nd Avenue North."
