According to the PGMOL, the body responsible for match officials, has now decided to relinquish Coote of referee or VAR duties for this weekend’s round of games.
David Coote have come under fire following baffling decisions during the top of the table clash between Everton and Liverpool.
He failed to send off Pickford after his reckless challenge on Van Djik.
Coote also ruled out Henderson's goal towards the closing stages of the match judging Mane to be offside.
However, the replays revealed that the freeze frame was inconclusive.
In our opinion, he should be kept far away from high profile matches.
This is the 2nd time he has failed to perform his duties properly in the past few months.
