British actress Diana Rigg, who starred in the Game of Thrones movie, is dead, her agent, Simon Beresford confirmed on Thursday.
According to Beresford in a statement, the Award-winning actress, died at aged 82. Beresford also in expressed sadness over her death.
Diana Rigg also starred in 'The Avengers' and won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress for the BBC miniseries Mother Love in 1989, and an Emmy Award for her role as Mrs. Danvers in an adaptation of Rebecca (1997).
"It is with tremendous sadness that we announce that Dame Diana Rigg died peacefully early this morning. She was at home with her family who have asked for privacy at this difficult time.
"Rigg was an icon of the theatre, film and television," the statement reads.
