On Wednesday, Nigeria recorded 457 new cases of COVID-19, as total confirmed cases nears 45,000.
The Nigeria Centre for disease control reported this via it's twitter handle noting that the new cases were recorded in twenty-one states including the Federal capital territory (FCT).
NCDC said that 32,165 is the total discharged with 927 deaths.
According to their data, Lagos recorded 137 new cases followed by FCT with 76 cases.
Plateau 40, Rivers 35, Enugu 34, Oyo 25, Abia 23, Delta 12, Edo and Ebonyi 11, Cross River and Kwara 10, Kaduna 9.
