Abia State government has Intercepted Truck Conveying Humans Into the state through the Honourable Commissioner for Homeland Security Prince Dan Okoli and his TEAM.
According to the Commissioner, they Intercepted this "Cement" truck conveying humans from Northern Nigeria into Abia State through Umunnochi and Ikwuano entry points.
Let it be clear that the Abia State Government through the Homeland Security Network is not into ethnic profiling.
These vehicles and their occupants are not being intercepted for being NON - INDIGENES but are being contravened for violating the Federal and State Government's orders on Interstate Travels at this period.
The Commissioner lament that, "we repeat that we are not at war or exhibiting any form of hostility against our neighbors; either from the North or South.
"We are simply carrying out our legitimate assignment aimed at containing the rapid spread of a deadly infectious virus codenamed Covid-19.
Let us remain within our states of residence....FOR NOW.
