The mother of Nigeria Educational Minister Adamu Adamu dies age 107.
According to him, Hajia Fatima Adamu Gamawa, (mother) died early yesterday in Azare, Bauchi State at the age of 107.
His mother was probably believed to be the oldest woman in Azare, the Minister said “Remarkably too, the late Hajia Fatima retained all her faculties, was alert and active until her death “due to old age”.
Hajia Fatima is survived by seven children- Malam Lawal Adamu, Hon. Ibrahim Adamu, a politician in Bauchi, Malam Adamu Adamu, Hajia Hafsat Mohammed, Hajia Hauwa’u Taudo and Hajia Iya Abubakar- and many grandchildren.
