Islamic jihadists behead 10 people and shoot 11th man to send warning. Islamic State terrorists from a West African offshoot of ISIS have released a Christmas video showing them executing eleven Christians while declaring the killings are "a message for Christians all over the world."
The video, released shortly after Christmas, reportedly shows jihadists shooting, stabbing, and beheading a group of Christians in retaliation for the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in October during a U.S. Armed Forces raid.
"No details were given about the victims, who were all male, but IS says they were ‘captured in the past weeks’ in Nigeria’s north-eastern Borno State," according to the BBC.
"It was released on 26 December and analysts say it was clearly timed to coincide with Christmas celebrations.” One of the terrorists in the video reportedly said, 'This is a message to Christians all over the world.'"
The video shows 'men in beige uniforms and black masks lining up behind blindfolded captives then beheading 10 of them and shooting an 11th man,' Reuters reported.
The killers said the executions were in retaliation for the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi
