Gombe State House of Assembly on Tuesday passed 'demonstration of majority disapproval' on Deputy Speaker, Shu'aibu Haruna of Kwami East, prompting to his removal replace him with Siddi Buba of Kwame West.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Adamu Pata, speaking to Yamaltu East, moved the movement and was backed by Tulfugut Kardi, speaking to Billiri west.
Pata said he moved the movement dependent on area 92 sub segment I and ii of 1999 constitution, as corrected. Sadam Bello, speaking to Funakaye, named Buba to supplant the previous Deputy and was favored by Mustapha Usman, speaking to Gombe South.
Speaker of the House, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim, sworn-in the new Deputy by ideals of area 94 of 1999 constitution as revised. After the Haruna's arraignment the House suspended sitting to Nov. 19.
