"Clean your tears" - Story by Eshua Joseph C.

YOU are broken mummy and I know, dad is always on the move and you are all alone, you are always wondering what does love holds for you.

He was supposed to be your shelter when it rains, he was supposed to be your shield in every every war zone. He was supposed to be your every strength and your better half.

He was supposed to sing all those sweet melancholy love tunes, while you fall asleep in his comforting arm. He was supposed to lift your hands to the sky and pledge togetherness.

He was supposed to pay deaf ears to all this scuttlebutt, instead he was the bullet from the last gun short. How can I forget so hastily, when I was still in your uterus, how you always tell me that daddy was a lovely man, that daddy loves mummy and daddy will never stand the sight to see mummy's teary eyes, not even a drop.

How can I forget so swiftly, when I was still in your womb, you always tell me that daddy loves me, and daddy can't wait to see me breath in my first oxygen and give out the carbondioxide.

Mummy you always tell me that daddy will never lay his hands on you, even when his drunk, that he will never lay his ✋ on you for no just cause.

But reverse is the case, it's as if all those words had gone into oblivion and never to return. Who took away the good day's from us, who mixed up our wine with vinegar, who plucked away the leaves on our 🌲 tree.

Who ever decrypt our encrypted files, and left us vulnerable to mishap. Can I ever feel the warmth of dual parenting, can I ever feel secured on this earth, what will my mate say, when am grown, that am a product of a failed nuptial vows?

How will this cup pass over me, mummy? How will I explain that am innocent in all this? I just have but one thing to do, just to watch them talk and let the rain drops.

Mummy please can you sing those songs, which you normally sing for me, when I was just a day old? But sincerely the song will have no more meaning to me anymore, because it's content and rhythm has not really transmit into real life situation.

It doesn't hold any ground no more, because it's mixed up with fallacies in real life scenario. Now you are are breaking mummy and am here picking up your pieces, just to fix you back and get you on track once more.

Just clean your eyes mummy I will never desert you the way dad did. I will always be by your side and together we will build a formidable pillar. I JUST PRAY I WOKE UP AND DISCOVER ALL THIS IS JUST A DREAM. #I LOVE YOU MUM#
