Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Increases Salaries of Civil Servants By 20%

Arrears for the month of January will be paid along with March paychecks.

The pay of Lagos State's civil officials were raised by 20% under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. 

Following his election victory, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos state, accepted the hike. 

The raise becomes effective in January 2023, according to a circular issued by the state's Chief of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola. 

Arrears for the month of January will be paid along with March paychecks, while those for the month of February will be paid along with April paychecks.
