Graduate of the AAU medical laboratory slain by attackers as she returned home after induction.
After her induction, an unidentified gunman opened fire on a medical student as she was returning home.
She went to Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma and went by the name Celestina.
Celestina was returning to Abuja, where she lived, 13 days after being accepted into the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria, when she was fatally shot by as-yet-unidentified assailants.
Celestina formerly served as the Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental Students (FECAMDS) of Nigeria's vice president for two terms.
News of her death has shocked those who knew her and they have taken to Facebook to mourn her.
