'I and my team will be fully cooperative with the NDLEA' - Zinoleesky

 

Nigerian Singer Oniyide Azeez, popularly known as Zinoleesky, has pledged to work with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, or NDLEA. 

This came following his release from detention, the musician posted a video to his Instagram page, claiming that the NDLEA reacted to a distress call, which led to his arrest. 

After a nocturnal raid, the NDLEA detained Zinoleesky and another singer, Mohbad, near Idodo Estate in Lagos State, read (here).

Zinoleesky thanked his followers and family for sticking with him during the ordeal in a statement released following the tragedy.

"There was a distress call to which the NDLEA responded. Unfortunately, the issue escalated, he said. 

"But from now on, I and my team will be fully cooperative with the NDLEA so they can finish their investigations. Say no to drugs," he added.
