Chief Lari Williams, a veteran Nollywood actor, died at the age of 81 after a protracted illness.
Williams, who starred in hit serial operas like Village Headmaster, Ripples, and Mirror in the Sun, died peacefully at his home in Ikom, Cross River State, on Sunday.
This was revealed in a statement released to the media by the family.
