Hauwa Muhammad, popularly known as Jaruma, the controversial sex therapist, has spoken out about her absence from her ongoing trial at the upper area court in Zuba, Abuja.
However, when the case was reopened on Wednesday, Jaruma was not present, causing the trial to be postponed.
The judge, Ismailia Abdullahi, had ordered the sex therapist to be remanded in custody.
Despite being informed of the hearing date, the judge accused her of avoiding the court, read (here).
Reacting in an Instagram post, on Thursday (today) Kayanmata trader said she could not show up in the court because she was ill.
"Jaruma does not break rules & Jaruma never breaks rules..!! When people can’t get you, they come for your loved ones," she wrote.
"I was not feeling fine today that’s why I did not go but I will give myself in 1st thing tomorrow insha Allah."

The police charged Jaruma with false news publication, intimidation, and defamation of character after a petition was filed by wealthy businessman Ned Nwoko.
