United States thrash Thailand 13-0 in their Group F match of FIFA World Cup in Reims on Tuesday, which was Thailand's heaviest defeat in World Cup history.
The defending champions US scored 10 times in the opening 32 minutes, another four in a 10-minute period in the second half before an additional six goals in the closing 16 minutes to record the highest victory in a World Cup.
Match Breakdown
Alex Morgan opened the scoring after 12 minutes and scored another four goals before the final whistle.
Rose Lavelle and Sam Mewis also scored twice respectively with Lindsey Horan, Megan Rapinoe, Mallory Pugh and Carli Lloyd also on the score sheet as they set a new record winning margin in World Cup competition.
