Twelve of Europe’s leading football clubs had announced few days ago that they have agreed to establish a new mid-week competition, called the Super League, governed by its Founding Clubs. 

The founding clubs where; FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Arsenal FC, Atlético Madrid, Chelsea FC, ​​FC Internazionale Milano, Juventus FC, Liverpool FC, Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid CF and Tottenham Hotspur. 

But this evening its seems like things are not going properly well. 

English Clubs Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Spurs has backed out of the proposed decision.

Liverpool in a Statement via its website and Players said... Liverpool Football Club can confirm that our involvement in proposed plans to form a European Super League has been discontinued. Arsenal in a statement - As a result of listening to you and the wider football community over recent days we are withdrawing from the proposed Super League. Manchester United in a Statement - We will not be participating in the European Super League Tottenham in a Statement - We can confirm that we have formally commenced procedures to withdraw from the group developing proposals for a European Super League (ESL)
