Nigeria Records High, As Total Covid19 Cases Exceeds 18,000

The Nigeria Centre for disease control (NCDC), on Thursday has reported 745 new cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria.


According to them via their daily updates on twitter, this is the highest number of cases recorded in 24hr.


Lagos State recorded 280 cases, followed by Oyo with 103, in Ebonyi 72 cases, in FCT 60. Imo State records 46 cases, in Edo 34 cases, in Delta 33 and in Rivers 25 cases.


23 cases were confirmed in Kaduna, Ondo 16 cases, in Katsina 12, in Kano 10, in Bauchi 8, in Borno 7, in Kwara 5, in Gombe 4. Sokoto and Enugu recorded 2 cases, while Yobe, Osun and Nasarawa 1 case.


So far, Nigeria now has a total of 18,480 confirmed Cases, 6,307 discharged with 475 deaths.
