Alhaji Tafida Abubakar Ila II, the Emir of Rano, in Kano State dies age 74.
The emir passed away on Saturday at one hospital in Kano.
His death was confirmed by the Turakin Rano and House of Representatives Member of Rano, Kibiya and Bunkure, Alhaji Kabir Alhassan Rururm.
He said the late emir would be buried this evening in the emirate.
