Here are most common five mistakes that users ignorantly make when charging their phones. Some times users blame product manufacturer without reading the product Manual.
Pressing the phone when reach low levels (Low Battery)
You have to avoid pressing or browsing with the phone when the battery is critical. The effect of this on your phone battery is not immediate, but over time it begins to manifest and it eventually stresses out your phone battery and shortens the battery life.
Batteries get stressed on critical levels, and waiting for your battery to reach critical level before charging is bad. Charge the phone at-least 20% low.
Remove Phone case while charging
Mobile phones produces heat when charging. It’s advisable to remove the phone case while charging your phone so that the heat emitted from your phone while charging can escape.
To avoid the phone from overheating when charging, remove the case so that the phone will be in room temperature.
Use Compatible product Charger
Swapping or using a different charger is not appropriate, as the voltage may not be the same. It will affect the phone charging in the long run.
The fact that most smartphones have the same micro USB doesn’t mean all chargers and phones are compatible. Some chargers function differently and that difference can be detrimental to your device if care is not taken.
Charging the Phone Overnight
Charging your phone overnight, constantly stresses your phone battery each night. Sooner than later, your phone is likely to have battery problems.
The temperature may rise when the battery is overcharged, it can threaten user’s safety ie. heaten up and explodes.
