Nigerian Customs Seize $8.6m from a passenger at Lagos Airport

Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Murtala Mohammed Airport command, have arrested a driver at the airport, $8,065,615 was found inside a vehicle he was driving.

Mr. Hameed Ali, the customs comptroller-general, said the cash was intercepted from a Vehicle while it was about to be loaded into an aircraft.

"From the day we seized this money, no bank has come to claim ownership. But our investigation will reveal the mystery behind the owners," Alli said.
