A fan of Nigerian breaks his TV set after Riyad Mahrez sends Super Eagles packing in AFCON's Semi-Finals. The unknown supporter reportedly placed a N700,000 bet on the Super Eagles.
The match did not go down well with many Nigerian fans after a last minute effort from Riyad Mahrez sealed a 2-1 win over the Super Eagles.
But one Nigerian fan was not only frustrated with the defeat but lost a N700,000 bet after the three-time African champions failed to win.
The man broke his TV screen with a stick as reported by his friend who went on Twitter to make mockery of him.
Algeria will now face Senegal in a repeat of their first Group C clash where they defeated the Teranga Lions by 1-0, while the Super Eagles will battle Tunisia in a third/fourth place playoff game to see who emerges the first runners-up of the tournament.
