President Buhari has signed the 2019 appropriation bill of N8.91 trillion into law. The national assembly passed the budget into law after increasing the budget size from its initial N8.83 trillion.
President Buhari while signing the budget said he will work with the incoming 9th National Assembly to return to the January-December budget cycle.
He also said he will work with the 9th Assembly to have a more workable document that will facilitate the development of the nation as intended in the proposal submitted to the National Assembly.
